Join the Friends of the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center for an event featuring gastric delights and the incredible Green Egg outdoor ceramic cooker. Participants come from across the country to showcase their personal recipes, meet with the fellow Eggheads, and share some great food with the crowd!
Watch cooking demos throughout the day and experience the Big Green Egg first hand. All Demo Eggs used for cooking at the event will also be sold at substantially discounted prices (Pre-order your Demo Egg at www.athenseggfest.com).
Regular admission to the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center will apply and a tasting fee of $5 will be collected at the event entrance for persons age 12 and older. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cooking will end at 3 p.m. Tasting will continue until all the food is gone.
