Skiin’ with the Galilean (SWTG) is a Water Sports/Bible Day Camp for orphans, foster children, and children with special needs. It combines the thrilling events of boating, swimming, tubing, skiing, and wakeboarding with a Biblical message to give them hope in their circumstance. The campers are provided lunch and dinner prepared on site. The camp is free to all the campers and their families.
SWTG has served thousands of children over the years, and the testimonies of these kids saying that their day at SWTG was the greatest day of their lives are too numerous to count.
Would you like to help provide one of the greatest days and memories to these children in distress? If so, please join 80 other Lake Athens neighbors in serving at SWTG. You can do 1, 2, or 3 days. SWTG needs boats. We would love to have 30 boats for 2019. This would allow 450 children to experience SWTG at Athens. You need to be able to pull tubers. Skiing and wakeboarding are optional.
Registration will open on May 1. You may register to serve at swtgtx.org. For more information contact Todd Garrett at (512) 789-1241.
Let’s go Skiin’ with the Galilean!
