LAPOA’s recent annual meeting on June 8th, 2013 was the most attended annual meeting in LAPOA’s history, with 95 in attendance! Only the original organizational meeting had a larger attendance.
The new LAPOA was unveiled and the response was overwhelming and positive. Many new people joined, many purchased t-shirts sporting the new logo, many joined one or more of the new clubs, and new relationships began.
Club News:
- Sailing Club – First ever Lake Athens Sailing Regatta and Dinner was held on June 22.
- Skiing Club – Standing Ski Outings. Every Saturday morning, 8AM. Meet at the Oakwood Park. Beginners are welcome.
- Rowing Club – First ever Lake Athens Rowing Regatta was held on June 29.
- Float Club – Held Kick off Meeting on June 8th.
