The Lake Athens Sailing Club is hosting its Fall Regatta and Dinner Party on Saturday, October 18th.
This Regatta is named in honor of Larry and Beverly Dale who just donated their fantastic Laser Pico Sailboat to the Lake Athens Sailing Club. This is a wonderful boat for teaching new sailors as well as giving experienced sailors a thrilling voyage. Thank you Larry and Beverly!
• All Lake Athens sailboats are welcome to sail in the Regatta.
• If you do not own a sailboat but would like to attend, we can put you on a participating sailboat.
• All sailboats will rendezvous off Sunset Point (on the shore of Oakwood) at 1:30PM.
• Happy Hour and Dinner will begin at 5PM at the Garrett’s boat dock. All LAPOA members, whether sailing or not, are welcome to attend the party and socialize with your fellow Lake Athens neighbors.
• Grilled chicken, water and tea are provided. Please bring a salad, side dish, or desert to share. BYOB.
