On December 29th, 2014, the Athens Municipal Water Authority (AMWA) announced the launch of a new website, www.athenstxwater.org.
According to Darlene Forshage, AMWA’s new Office Manager:
“The content of www.athenstxwater.org has been designed as a resource of information for both new and existing residents, as well as for the Athens community as a whole…
“In addition to providing details regarding the programs and fee structure of AMWA, we will soon be offering easy access, fillable forms to help new residents speed up the process of subscribing to AMWA services (available effective 01-05-15).
“As any pertinent water-related news develops, the site will be updated accordingly in a blog section entitled ‘What’s On Our Minds.’ As the site continues to develop, look for information about upcoming events and news in the ‘What’s Happening at Lake Athens’ section.
“Finally, the board of directors of AMWA would like to invite you to share any questions or concerns that you may have. The ‘Contact Us’ section of our site provides easy access email information as well as our office telephone number. Please do not hesitate in using either to get in touch. Often, questions may be resolved in the ‘FAQ’ section of the site.”
